Seminars organized by the British Council
GENESIS Pharma, the fastest growing Greek biopharmaceutical company, supports a circle of seminars, titled «Medical Speciality in Britain», which were organized by the British Council in Athens and Thessaloniki in the 2005 – 2006 period.
Seminars appealed to medical students and graduates and covered the following thematic fields: Introduction to the National Medical System, Registration prerequisites to the Medical Society, Registering for education at a hospital under payment, the educational structure in medical studies.
The first round of seminars took place last October and November 2005, in the presence of more than 150 participants. Mr. C. Georgiou, Head of Education at the British Council and Mr. I. Tsako, gynaecologist, obstetrician and surgeon took the podium.
Two educational events have already been scheduled for the coming year; one on February 18th 2006 in Thessaloniki and one on March 18th 2006 in Athens.
The contribution of GENESIS Pharma to the educational programme of the British Council is within the frame of supporting the in depth education of new scientists and executives, as well as for GENESIS Pharma/s employees and the Medical Community, as a whole.
